Sonic Mania Plus Announced

A brand new edition of Sonic Mania has been announced titled "Sonic Mania Plus". This version of the game will be a physical release complete with new characters and modes. This new version of the game will release Summer 2018.
The updated game will feature an all-new four player competition mode, as well as an "Encore Mode." No details about the new modes have been revealed so far.
You will also be able to play with two new characters, Mighty and Ray who have not been seen in a Sonic game since 1993's SegaSonic The Hedgehog.
This copy of the game will come with a 32 page artbook and a reversible box cover. All of these new features will come as an update to the standard edition of Sonic Mania.
